Aurora Miniatures North America Inc. is proud to present its first N scale freight car – the Greenbrier 7550 cf 60’ Plate F Boxcar. With almost 20,000 of these 60ft double plug door boxcars roaming the rails of North America, it is one of the most common boxcars of the 21st century.
Aurora’s N scale replica is based on the 2016+ version of this boxcar, which feature ‘grid’ sides. Seven authentic paint schemes are being offered for the first run. Since we are the producer of the most accurate and most detailed HO scale model of this boxcar, therefore it is natural that we also produce an N scale version. If this project is proven to be successful, we will proceed to offer many of our other announced HO scale freight cars in N scale.

• Based on the 2016-present day production variation of the prototype.
• All-new model, meticulously designed using various prototype resources with unrivalled accuracy and attention to detail.
• Highly detailed, injection-moulded plastic body.
• Separately applied door rods, handbrake wheel, coupler cut levers and air hoses.
• Fully and accurately detailed underbody details: main air line, control valve, air reservoir, empty/load equipment, brake cylinder, low-mounted brake rods, full piping details connecting all components.
• 100-ton roller-bearing trucks with 36” metal wheelsets.
• N scale AuroraJanney couplers installed.
• Coupler and draft gear can be easily removed to facilitate installation of aftermarket couplers.
• Precision painting and lettering.
• Multiple road numbers offered for each paint scheme.

    These are very detailed cars. I would compare to Scaletrains. I wish more N scale were available.
