Easy install, using two 8 W speakers in parallel it provides sound at an adequate volume. This is probably the best sound you can get in an N scale locomotive. Had to do some filing on the motor connector retainer to fit it in a Kato FEF-3 engine but no major difficulties.

Still in the final stages of the process, this has been the toughest decoder installation I've ever done. More information specific to Kato's ALC-42 would be so helpful. Shipment was fast and efficient, so I have no issues with Fusion except for the lack of instructions. This is not a "plug 'n' play item.
