I have wanted a modified kit for years and was excited to find this kit. The kit just did not assemble at all. Parts and decals are mislabeled, but some parts seemed like they belonged on a different kit. I bought the Matt Hirshman kit and it is assembling much better.

This is a highly detailed kit of a class of racecar that has been neglected. Experience is definitely required as the kit doesn’t “fall together” like kits from other manufacturers. Trial fitting before assembly is a must, and there are some areas that require sanding and/or trimming. If you use the “chrome” parts, be advised that it’s not like the “chrome” from other kit makers. I used a Dremel to remove the chrome in the gluing areas, and CA doesn’t seem to work well. Also, the instructions are rather vague in places, especially when assembling the rear suspension. Another hint-apply the decals before assembling the body.
All in all, it’s a good kit and well worth the price.

If you are a modified fan and a good builder, you will love these kits. I can't stop building them!!!
