Having other Aurora Miniatures models, I looked forward to the Gunderson / Greenbrier 6276 cf 50′ Plate F Boxcar from Fusion Scale Hobbies and was not disappointed. The cars that replicate the 2004 to today era 'grid' sided cars are actual miniatures engineered with all the separately applied delicate details duplicated and finely rendered just like prototype, with no detail left out right down to the accurate uber detailed running gear and animated revolving roller bearing caps. The bodies and details match the prototypes, painting is evenly applied, lettering is exact, clear, and legible, and the floors include all the details of the prototypes even including covers hiding the screws holding the trucks. The cars are carefully packaged in the typical clam shell plastic containers and thin wrap to prevent damage, the cars are about the weight called for by the NMRA, the wheels are in gauge, and there is no body wobble when the cars track. For those wanting to run their layout like the prototype, or just have the most exact models, these extremely detailed and complete cars are well worth the price.
