Woodland Scenics HO Asst.Farm Set Economy Pack

I'd bought the Woodland Scenics Workers Economy Set several years ago and was impressed with the quality and price, so when I found this Farm Set Economy Pack at Fusion Hobbies for $30 less than other online hobby stores, I decided to order it. It's a nice set that includes 6 bears, 10 pigs, 12 black & white cows, 7 brown & white cows, 17 grazing horses, 4 saddled horses with riders, 6 people fishing, 4 beekeepers with hive boxes, 10 cats & dogs, 3 sheep, 1 goat, 10 farmer figures, 1 goose, 1 milking pail and assorted accessory pieces.

It nets out to about $1.13 per figure compared to around $2.00 per figure if you buy the 6 to 10 figure sets individually. These are all very high-quality painted figures with excellent details picked out in contrasting paint, including the buttons on a man's shirt or another man's suspenders. And all of the paints are flat colors, not glossy like the cheap figures found on eBay for 10 or 20 cents apiece. All in all, an excellent investment for any model railroader who contemplates a farm scene on his or her layout. The only negative feature is the packaging does not allow you to see all of the figures in the package due to the angular labeling which covers several rows of figures.
