Why a Dedicated Airbrush Cleaner Beats “Just Flushing”
If you spray Scalecoat I or Scalecoat II, you already value smooth atomization and crisp coverage. Residue from enamels and lacquers can build up inside your airbrush body, nozzle, and tip—causing sputters, spitting, and color shift. Scalecoat Airbrush Cleaner is formulated to dissolve stubborn deposits quickly so you can switch colors faster and finish with confidence.
Key Benefits
- Purpose-built for Scalecoat I & II: chemistry aligned to remove enamel & lacquer residue efficiently.
- Quick color changes: flush between colors to keep atomization consistent and prevent ghosting.
- Deep-clean performance: breaks down dried paint on nozzles, caps, needles, and cups.
- Workshop-friendly: a great companion for layout building, rolling stock production, and plastic model finishing.

What if I still see spatter after cleaning?
Inspect the nozzle face and tip for dried paint. Repeat the deep-clean steps and confirm needle/nozzle alignment.
