Finished with Athearn's realistic Primed for Grime® weathering, this Pullman-Standard 4,740 cubic foot covered hopper captures the appearance of a freight car that has spent years hauling grain, fertilizer, plastic pellets, feed, and other dry bulk commodities across the CSX system.
Factory assembled and ready for operation, this Athearn Ready-To-Roll freight car features crisp prototype lettering, subtle weathering, body-mounted McHenry® operating knuckle couplers, 36-inch machined metal wheelsets with RP25 contours, roller-bearing trucks, and factory weighting for smooth, dependable performance.
