Atlas HO Code 100 90° Crossing – Nickel Silver – ATL176

Atlas HO Code 100 90° Crossing – ATL176 is a fixed track section that allows two HO scale railroad tracks to intersect at a 90-degree right angle. Built with solid nickel silver Code 100 rail and black injection-molded plastic ties, this precision-engineered crossing integrates with Atlas HO Code 100 track for dependable operation and consistent track geometry.

This is a true crossing rather than a turnout or switch. The two tracks remain completely separate routes that cross perpendicular to one another, with trains continuing straight through the intersection on their respective tracks. The piece does not provide a route for a train to move from one intersecting track to the other.

90° Right-Angle Track Crossing

The 90° crossing angle makes ATL176 ideal when two tracks need to intersect at a square or perpendicular angle. Compared with the shallower 19°, 25°, 30°, 45° and 60° crossings, the 90° crossing creates the sharpest possible intersection between two straight routes.

This geometry can be particularly useful in industrial areas, yards, terminals, switching layouts and compact track plans where tracks may approach each other from perpendicular directions. It can also be used anywhere a custom layout design requires one HO scale track to pass directly across another at a right angle.
