Atlas N Scale Code 55 15" Radius Half-Section Curved Track – 6-Pack – ATL2019 includes six half-section curved track pieces designed for making precise adjustments to 15" radius curves on N scale model railroads. Part of the Atlas N Scale Code 55 track system, each section features fine nickel silver rail with simulated brown wood ties for realistic, prototypical-looking trackwork.

Each half section maintains the same 15" radius as the corresponding full-section curve while providing a shorter angular section. This gives modelers additional flexibility when a standard full curved section would add too much curvature to a sectional track arrangement.

15" Radius Half-Section Curved Track

The term half section describes the angular length of the track piece—not half of its radius. ATL2019 remains a true 15" radius curve, allowing it to be combined with corresponding full-section 15" radius track while maintaining consistent curve geometry.

Fine-Tune 15" Radius Curves

Half-section curves provide greater control when building with fixed sectional track. When a full curved section creates too much angular change, ATL2019 provides a smaller adjustment while maintaining the same 15" radius throughout the curve.

This allows full and half sections of the same radius to be combined when more precise sectional track geometry is required.

Broader N Scale Curve Geometry

The 15" radius provides a broader curve than the 10", 11.25", 12.5" and 13.75" radius sectional curves in the Atlas Code 55 system. These half sections provide additional flexibility for working with that broader radius while making smaller adjustments to the overall track arrangement.
