Atlas N Scale Code 55 6" Rerailer Track – 3-Pack – ATL2001 includes three 6" rerailer track sections designed to help properly align N scale locomotive and rolling stock wheels with the rails. Part of the realistic Atlas N Scale Code 55 track system, each section combines an integrated rerailing area with fine nickel silver rail and simulated brown wood ties.

Unlike a separate handheld rerailing tool, ATL2001 is an actual track section installed directly into the layout. The rerailer is incorporated into the track, allowing equipment passing over the section to be guided toward proper wheel-to-rail alignment.

Three 6" Rerailer Track Sections

Each package of ATL2001 contains three 6" rerailer track sections. With three pieces included, the package provides a total of 18" of rerailer track for use at multiple locations around an N scale railroad.

What Does a Rerailer Track Do?

A rerailer track section incorporates a shaped center area designed to help guide wheels toward proper alignment with the rails as equipment passes over it. This can help reduce the need to manually place individual wheels back onto the rails when equipment is slightly misaligned.

Because the rerailing feature is built directly into the track section, ATL2001 can remain permanently installed as part of the railroad.
