The FM Train Master was found on several North American railroads in the 50s and 60s, and was well known for its quick acceleration and high horsepower for the time.  The Norfolk & Western had a fleet of Train Masters inherited from the Virginian Railway and the Wabash.  This model best represents a former Virginian locomotive used in the coal fields of West Virginia.  There is ample reference material available in print and on the internet on these locomotives.  Here is an excellent reference photo by Tom Sink.

This shell is designed to fit on a TGauge 6-axle chassis (TGauge.com part number 015-6ax sold separately) to produce an accurate model of this locomotive in 1:450 scale.
