Atlas HO Code 83 True-Track 9" Straight Track – 4-Pack – ATL450 includes four 9-inch straight track sections for building and expanding HO scale model railroad layouts. Standard 9" True-Track Straight

The 9" straight is one of the basic building blocks of the Atlas HO True-Track system. Multiple sections can be connected end-to-end to create longer straight runs, while individual sections can be combined with shorter straight pieces, curves, turnouts and crossings to achieve the dimensions required by a particular track plan.

These straight sections are useful for:

Atlas HO Code 83 True-Track

Atlas True-Track combines Code 83 track with molded gray graveled roadbed. The integrated roadbed features correctly angled shoulders and provides the appearance of railroad track installed over ballast without requiring separate roadbed for basic track setup.

The sectional design makes True-Track easy to assemble, disconnect and rearrange, making it useful for permanent layouts as well as temporary, portable and beginner HO scale railroads.

Build Longer Straight Track Runs

Each ATL450 package provides 3 total feet of straight True-Track. Additional packages can be connected together when longer runs are required, making the 9" straight useful for everything from compact switching layouts to longer mainline and staging tracks.

The consistent sectional geometry also makes it easy to calculate track length when planning a layout. Four sections equal 36", eight sections equal 72", and additional pieces can be combined with shorter True-Track straights when more precise spacing is required.

Useful for Sidings, Yards & Mainlines

Straight track is required throughout nearly every model railroad. ATL450 can form the long sides of an oval, extend a passing siding, create parallel yard tracks or provide straight approaches to turnouts and crossings.

Because the sections are part of the True-Track system, they can be quickly incorporated into an existing roadbed-track layout without installing separate cork or foam roadbed underneath each section.

Removable Code 83 Track

Atlas designs HO True-Track with Code 83 Snap-Track that can be removed from the molded roadbed. This provides additional flexibility if a modeler later decides to incorporate the track into a more permanent layout using a different roadbed or scenery system.
