The NixTrainz Power Bridge II NTZ202 is a 3-wire stay-alive power module designed to improve DCC locomotive performance by maintaining consistent electrical supply during brief interruptions in track power. It is engineered for use with ESU LokSound and other compatible DCC sound decoders that support external energy storage systems.

By using a supercapacitor-based energy storage system, the NTZ202 helps eliminate stalling, sound dropouts, and lighting flicker caused by dirty track, frogs, switches, and intermittent electrical pickup conditions.

3-Wire Stay Alive System

The NTZ202 uses a 3-wire configuration that includes a control lead for regulated charging and discharge behavior. This allows compatible decoders to safely manage energy storage without interfering with normal DCC programming or operation.
