Introduced in 1981, LRC coaches became a mainstay of VIA Rail passenger service, operating behind LRC locomotives and later F40PH-2D and P42DC locomotives. The Canada Scheme represents the familiar grey, blue, and yellow appearance with updated VIA Rail Canada markings.

Prototype History
