The Woodland Scenics Realistic Water™ is a ready-to-use solution for creating realistic ponds, rivers, lakes, streams, canals, and other still or slow-moving water features on model railroad layouts and dioramas. This self-leveling formula pours directly from the bottle and dries clear with minimal shrinkage, helping hobbyists create natural-looking water scenes with realistic depth and surface detail.
Designed for easy scenery application, Realistic Water dries firm and transparent in approximately 24 hours depending on humidity conditions. It is water soluble, non-toxic, and resistant to cracking, making it ideal for detailed terrain projects, harbor scenes, wetlands, and scenic railroad environments across HO Scale, N Scale, O Scale, and more. For best results, seal the water area using Plaster Cloth and prepare the surface with Woodland Scenics Earth Colors™ Liquid Pigment, Water Undercoat™, or 100% acrylic paint before pouring. One 16 fl oz (473 mL) bottle covers approximately a 17" (43.1 cm) diameter area when poured to a depth of 1/8" (0.31 cm).
