Atlas HO Code 100 1/2 15" Radius Curved Track – 4-Pack – ATL832 provides short curved sectional track pieces designed for making more precise adjustments within Atlas HO Code 100 track plans. Each piece follows the same 15-inch radius as Atlas standard 15" radius curved track, but uses a half-length curved section for greater flexibility when arranging fixed sectional track geometry.

These half sections are especially useful when a full 15" radius curve would turn the track too far. By providing a smaller amount of curvature while maintaining the same 15" radius, ATL832 can help position curves, straights, turnouts and other sectional track components where they need to meet.

Each section features solid nickel silver Code 100 rail and black injection-molded plastic ties, matching Atlas' traditional HO Code 100 sectional track system.

What Does "1/2 15" Radius" Mean?

The 15" radius describes the radius of the curve itself. The 1/2 designation means this piece represents half the arc length of Atlas' standard 15" radius curved track section.

In other words, this track does not have a smaller 7.5" radius. It maintains the same 15" radius geometry but turns through a smaller angle than a standard full 15" radius sectional track piece.

That distinction makes half-radius sections useful as curve adjustment pieces when building with fixed sectional track.

Fine-Tune HO Scale Curves

Sectional track layouts rely on predetermined lengths and angles. While standard curved sections handle most of a track plan, there are situations where a full curved section creates too much turn before the next track component.

A half section gives you another geometry option. It can be combined with standard 15" radius curves to change the total amount of curvature without changing the actual radius of the curve.
