Atlas HO Code 100 Snap-Track Starter Set – ATL88 provides the track and components needed to build a complete 38" x 56" HO scale oval with a passing siding. Designed around Atlas' proven Code 100 Snap-Track system, this set is an excellent starting point for a first HO scale railroad or an easy way to build a compact sectional-track layout.

The included passing siding makes this more than a basic oval. With left-hand and right-hand manual turnouts, the layout provides a second track where one train can be parked or where trains can pass one another, introducing switching and basic railroad operations from the beginning.

Please Note: This is a track starter set. A locomotive, train cars and power pack are not included.

Complete 38" x 56" HO Track Plan

When assembled according to the included instructions, the Atlas Code 100 Starter Set creates an approximately 38" x 56" oval with a passing siding. Atlas includes the sectional track, two manual switches, rerailer and terminal connection components needed to construct the track plan.

Because the set uses Atlas Snap-Track, the layout can also be expanded later. Additional straight track, curved track, turnouts, crossings and flex track can be added as your available space and track plan grow.

More Than a Simple Oval

The included passing siding gives beginning model railroaders additional operating possibilities compared with a basic continuous loop. The two manual turnouts allow trains to enter and leave the siding, making it possible to park rolling stock, practice basic switching or allow one train to clear the main track for another.

The included rerailer helps guide wheels correctly onto the rails, while the terminal rail joiners provide a convenient connection point between the track and a compatible model railroad power supply.
