The Woodland Scenics Interlocking Tower - N Scale adds authentic railroad operations and trackside realism to N Scale model railroad layouts and dioramas. Positioned at busy junctions, crossings, and interlocking rail lines, this detailed Built-&-Ready® Landmark Structure® represents an essential part of railroad signaling and train control operations.
This two-story Interlocking Tower features a highly detailed interior and exterior filled with realistic railroad accessories and operational details. Inside the upstairs control cabin, the interlocking machine's model board is visible through windows on all sides alongside the operator's desk, wood stove, lanterns, posters, and calendar. Exterior details include a weathered shingled roof, staircase, diesel tank, barrels, water hose, spool of wire, tires, toolbox, and additional railroad maintenance accessories that help create a believable railroad work environment.
The structure includes three pre-installed LED lights — two over the exterior doors and one upstairs interior light — designed for use with the Woodland Scenics Just Plug Lighting system. Perfect for passenger stations, busy junctions, switching districts, and rail corridors, this structure pairs well with products from our Woodland Scenics Buildings, Track & Roadbed, and Woodland Scenics collection for scenery materials, figures, railroad accessories, and layout details.
