Woodland Scenics Water Undercoat – Deep Blue is specially formulated to create realistic water depth and color beneath lakes, rivers, ponds, harbors, streams, and other water features on model railroad layouts, scenic dioramas, tabletop terrain, and display projects. Applied before adding water products, Deep Blue Undercoat enhances realism by simulating the natural appearance of deeper bodies of water.
Natural waterways vary in color depending on depth, sediment, vegetation, and lighting conditions. Deep Blue Water Undercoat replicates the rich, darker tones commonly found in deep lakes, reservoirs, harbors, and slow-moving rivers. The realistic coloration helps create the illusion of depth, making finished water features appear more natural and visually convincing.
Use Deep Blue Water Undercoat as a base layer beneath Woodland Scenics water products such as Realistic Water™, Deep Pour Water™, Water Effects™, or E-Z Water®.
