Atlas N Scale Code 80 19" Radius Curved Track – 6-Pack – ATL2526 includes six sectional curved track pieces for creating broad, sweeping curves on N scale model railroad layouts. Each section follows a 19" radius and provides 15° of curvature, with 24 sections required to create a complete 360° circle.

With six sections included, one ATL2526 package provides 90° of total curvature — enough to build a complete quarter-circle. Featuring Code 80 nickel silver rail and black railroad ties, these curved sections are part of the Atlas N Scale Code 80 Snap-Track system.

19" Radius Curved Track

The 19" radius creates a significantly broader curve than Atlas 9-3/4" and 11" radius sectional track. Broad-radius curves can provide a more realistic appearance and give longer locomotives and rolling stock more room to negotiate curves.

The additional radius also requires more layout space, so the available footprint should be considered when planning trackwork. Always check the manufacturer's recommended minimum radius for your locomotives and rolling stock.

15° Per Track Section

Atlas specifies that 24 pieces are required to create a complete 19" radius circle. Dividing a 360° circle into 24 equal sections means each ATL2526 section provides 15° of curvature.

• 6 sections: 90° quarter-circle
• 12 sections: 180° half-circle
• 24 sections: 360° full circle

Since ATL2526 contains six sections, four packages provide the 24 pieces required to construct a complete 19" radius circle.

Broad Curves for N Scale Layouts

A 19" radius provides broad sectional-track geometry for modelers with enough layout space to accommodate larger curves. Broader curves can create a more gradual transition through the railroad and are particularly useful where appearance and equipment compatibility are priorities.

90° of Curvature Per Package

One ATL2526 package contains six 15° sections for a combined 90° of curvature. This makes one package enough to construct a complete quarter-circle using a consistent 19" radius.

Two packages provide 180° for a half-circle, while four packages provide the 24 sections needed for a complete 360° circle.

Atlas N Scale Code 80 Snap-Track

ATL2526 is part of the Atlas N Scale Code 80 Snap-Track system. Sectional Snap-Track uses predetermined lengths, curve radii and angles, allowing modelers to construct layouts using consistent fixed track geometry.

Code 80 refers to rail measuring approximately .080" high. Atlas Code 80 track features nickel silver rail with black railroad ties and is available in straight track, curved track, turnouts, crossings, flex track and additional layout components.

Nickel Silver Rail & Black Ties

Each ATL2526 curved section features nickel silver rail and black railroad ties, matching other components throughout the Atlas N Scale Code 80 track system.

The matching track construction allows these broad-radius curves to be combined with compatible Atlas Code 80 straight track, turnouts, crossings and other track components when building or expanding an N scale railroad.

Fixed 19" Radius Geometry

Because ATL2526 uses fixed sectional-track geometry, each piece maintains the same 19" radius and 15° angle. This makes it easy to calculate exactly how many sections are required for a particular curve.
