Atlas N Scale Code 80 Standard Left Manual Turnout – ATL2702 provides a reliable hand-operated left-hand turnout for building sidings, yards, industrial spurs and other track arrangements on an N scale model railroad. Part of the popular Atlas Code 80 track system, this turnout features nickel silver rail, black ties and manual operation for straightforward control directly at the track.

Atlas also includes one piece of 19" radius curved track with the turnout. For modelers who later want electrical remote operation, ATL2702 can be converted using the compatible Atlas #2715 Left Remote Switch Machine.

Standard Left-Hand Turnout

ATL2702 is a left-hand turnout. When approaching from the single-track end, the turnout provides a straight route along with a diverging route branching toward the left.

This makes it useful for a wide variety of N scale track arrangements, including:

• Freight yards
• Industrial spurs
• Engine facility tracks
• Staging yards
• Passenger station tracks
• Branching track arrangements

Manual Turnout Operation

This version is equipped for manual operation. Changing the selected route is accomplished by moving the turnout lever by hand, making ATL2702 a straightforward choice for layouts where remote electrical turnout control is not required.

Manual operation is especially practical for turnouts located within easy reach of the operator, such as those in foreground yards, industrial switching areas and compact layouts.

Convertible to Remote Control

If your layout requirements change, Atlas designed this manual turnout so it can be converted to remote electrical operation. The Atlas #2715 Left Remote Switch Machine can be installed to allow the turnout to be controlled electrically rather than thrown by hand.

This gives modelers the flexibility to begin with manual turnout operation and upgrade to remote control later.

Includes 19" Radius Curved Track

Atlas includes one 19" radius curved track section with ATL2702. The additional curve can be incorporated into track arrangements such as a reverse curve leading from the turnout into a parallel siding.
