Atlas N Scale Code 80 Standard Wye Remote Turnout – ATL2708 provides a remotely operated wye turnout for creating branching track arrangements on an N scale model railroad. Part of the popular Atlas Code 80 track system, this turnout features nickel silver rail, black ties and remote operation for convenient route control on your layout.

Unlike a conventional left- or right-hand turnout, a wye turnout divides one incoming track into two diverging routes. This symmetrical track arrangement makes ATL2708 useful for specialized track plans, junctions, yard entrances and as a component when constructing a complete turning wye.

Standard Wye Turnout Geometry

ATL2708 is a standard wye turnout. Instead of providing one straight route and one diverging route like a conventional turnout, both routes diverge away from the incoming track.

This distinctive geometry allows a wye turnout to be incorporated into track arrangements where a symmetrical split is desirable.

Remote Turnout Operation

This version is designed for remote operation, allowing the selected route to be changed electrically rather than requiring the turnout to be thrown manually at the track.
