What Are Terminal Rail Joiners?

Terminal rail joiners combine two functions into one small track component. Like a standard rail joiner, they connect the rails of adjoining track sections. The attached wire also provides an electrical connection between the layout's power source and the rails.

This provides a convenient way to introduce electrical power to the track without requiring a dedicated terminal track section.

Wired Nickel Silver Rail Joiners

Atlas manufactures ATL465 from nickel silver and supplies the terminal joiners with wires already attached. The wires can be connected to the appropriate output of a compatible power pack or layout control system to feed electrical power to the rails.
