These Norfolk Southern 50' gondolas with Barber Roller Bearing trucks were built for Pullman-Standard in 1970, and originally belonged to Southern Railway. They feature removable covers for steel service.

The gondola itself is the usual quality Micro Trains production. This car is unique in that it comes with a cover that requires some assembly and decals. The one piece hood for coil steel loads needs the lifting attachment added to the hood. There look 3d printed. It was easy to remove from the sprue and attach the two parts. Decals for the hood are included with the car. For the most part, these are easy to apply but a few are a bit tricky to get placed right. Overall, a nice car/kit from Micro Trains.
